Rossia moelleri Steenstrup, 1856

Mantle length up to 70 mm. Distributed in the high Arctic and is rarely found elsewhere. It is a necto-benthic shelf species, occurring down to 600 m water depth. This bobtail squid is not common in boreal Atlantic, but may occur in the vicinity of cold water currents from the Arctic. The species was not found during BIOICE program and no voucher specimens are deposited in collections of IINH.
