Sepiola pfefferi Grimpe, 1921

Mantle length up to 13 mm. It is a necto-benthic shelf species and is distributed in low boreal waters in the eastern Atlantic, along the European shore, to the northern part of the North Sea, although it occasionally enters further north to the low Arctic waters. It may occur in Icelandic waters, but no voucher specimens are in the IINH collections. Very little is known of the species.
