West Atlantic: Gulf of St. Lawrence, between Cape Rosier and the SW point of Anticosti Id, Gulf of Maine, St. George’s Bank. Pacific Ocean: West coast of North America from Point Barrow to Panama Bay, Kurile Island, Sea of Okhotsk, Sea of Japan, Philippines and Indonesian archipelago, South Australia. Indian Ocean: Sri Lanka, Kerguelen Island. 

World bathymetrical range:100 - 4825 m.
