Bathymetrical range within the area:

Substrate:  stones, hard bottom

World distribution: Circumpolar in the Arctic, from Spitzbergen throughout the Atlantic to  the Antarctic Seas.

 In the Pacific Ocean: along the southwest coast of Chile.

World bathymetrical range: 100 – 2580 m depth.
