Planispirinoides bucculentus (Brady, 1884)

Description: Initial whorls closly coiled, in an equable spiral; later chambers are semi-globuluar, added in a spiral sequence of a single plane, perpendicular to the initial spiral tubular chamber; three semi-globular chambers are externally visible. Surface is smooth and polished; sutures are depressed and distinct. Aperture in globular chambers is an elongated, somewhat irregular slit with an apertural flap. Diameter of largest specimens nearly 5 mm but specimens around 2 mm are common.

Diagnosis. Relatively large specimens, with three successively larger semi-globular chabers added in a single plane.
