Bathymetrical range within the area: 65 - 320 m

Substrate: Shell sand, gravely sand, stones, hard bottom

Temperature: 2,2° - 8,0°C

Water mass: 34,85 - 35,06

World distribution: Iceland, Spitzbergen, Barents Sea, Scandinavian coasts, the Faroes, all around the British Isles and Ireland south to Vigo in Spain.  

World bathymetrical range: 0 - 1121 m.
